Jesus is as close as the mention of his name, when you need him you can reach out in prayer and he will hear you, rescue and deliver you.

We aren't by nature peaceful creatures. We're prone to stress and anxiety and tension and friction and obsessing over every little problem. But those who know the Good Shepherd experience life in a different way.

The Lord is your shepherd. There is no need for you to live your life in anything less than the fullness of his peace, because he's a good shepherd. He's looking after you.

God’s timetable is rarely the same as yours. You’re often in a hurry—but God isn’t. It can be frustrating when it feels like the progress you’re making is slow. But remember this: God is never in a hurry, but he is always on time.

Many different things can keep you from completing your life mission. Over the years, I’ve debated whether the worst enemy is procrastination or discouragement. If Satan can’t get you to put off your life mission, then he’ll try to get you to quit altogether.

People say, “Who do you think you are?” Wrong question. The question is, “Who do we think God is?” My God can do anything.

Faith is not just believing God can do something. Faith is not just hoping he will do something. Faith is thanking God in advance.

The Bible says, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21 NIV). So where is your heart today?

Becoming like Christ is a long, slow process of growth. Spiritual maturity is neither instant nor automatic. It’s gradual and progressive.
